These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SMSInbox ("SMSInbox", "we", "us", "our") and the temporary phone numbers and related services we provide. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
SMSInbox provides temporary phone numbers for legitimate SMS verification and OTP testing, QA of signup and login flows, business verification workflows, and API-based testing. The service is provided on a prepaid basis via our website and API.
2. Permitted use
The service may only be used for lawful and permitted purposes, and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and with the rules of any third-party platform you interact with.
3. Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for their own use of the service. You are responsible for all activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring you are authorized to perform any verification testing you carry out. You must not use the service in any way that violates the rules or terms of a third-party platform.
4. No guarantee of third-party compatibility
SMSInbox does not guarantee that numbers will work with every third-party platform or service. Availability, delivery, and successful verification depend on third-party providers and platforms that are outside our control. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
5. Third-party platforms and decisions
SMSInbox is not responsible for third-party account bans, restrictions, failed verifications, or platform decisions. Any action taken by a third-party platform — including suspending or banning an account — is the responsibility of that platform and the user, not SMSInbox.
6. Lawful and permitted purposes only
The service may only be used for lawful and permitted purposes. Prohibited uses are described in our Acceptable Use Policy and include fraud, scams, spam, phishing, account abuse, platform manipulation, bypassing KYC, financial-account abuse, fake reviews or engagement, resale of accounts, and any illegal activity.
7. Abuse, suspension, and termination
Abuse can lead to account suspension or termination without refund. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and, where required by law, to report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
8. Payments and balance
Use of paid services requires a positive prepaid balance. Charges are applied upon completion of an order. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy, and refund rules are made clear before purchase.
9. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, and materials on SMSInbox are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, republish, sell, or redistribute our materials without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SMSInbox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from third-party platform decisions, failed verifications, or your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
