Permitted use
SMSInbox is intended for lawful, good-faith use cases, including:
- SMS verification and OTP flow testing by developers and QA teams;
- Testing signup, login, and account-recovery flows you own or are authorized to test;
- Business verification workflows and onboarding testing;
- API-based testing within automated test suites;
- Country-specific verification testing where legally permitted.
Prohibited use
You must not use SMSInbox, directly or indirectly, for any of the following:
- Fraud of any kind;
- Scams or deceptive schemes;
- Spam or unsolicited messaging;
- Phishing or credential harvesting;
- Account abuse, including creating or operating accounts in violation of a platform's terms;
- Platform manipulation, including fake engagement, fake reviews, or artificial activity;
- Bypassing KYC ("know your customer") or identity-verification requirements;
- Banking, payment, or other financial account abuse;
- Creating fake reviews or fake social engagement;
- Any illegal activity under applicable law;
- Resale of accounts, or creating accounts for the purpose of resale;
- Using the service to violate the rules or terms of any third-party platform.
Enforcement: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Suspension or termination for misuse may occur without refund and, where required, may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use SMSInbox and for ensuring your use complies with this policy, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws and third-party platform rules. If you are testing flows on a platform you do not own, you must have authorization to do so.
Reporting abuse
If you believe the service is being used in violation of this policy, please contact support@smsinbox.io. We review reports and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
