SMSInbox provides temporary numbers for verification testing. Because the service is consumed on use, refunds are limited and apply only in the specific cases set out below. Refund rules are made clear before you purchase.
When a refund is available
A refund to your balance is available when:
- A number fails to receive an SMS within the allowed time window and the order otherwise qualifies under these terms; and
- The order was used in line with our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
In qualifying non-delivery cases, the charge is returned to your prepaid balance automatically or on request via support.
When a refund is not available
Refunds are not provided for:
- Misuse of the service or any violation of the Acceptable Use Policy;
- Third-party platform bans, restrictions, or decisions;
- Selecting the wrong service or country;
- A code that was received successfully (the order is then considered fulfilled);
- Failure on the user's side, such as incorrect integration or configuration.
Clear before purchase: by placing an order you confirm you have read these refund conditions. If a number qualifies for a refund, the amount returns to your SMSInbox balance.
How to request a refund
If you believe an order qualifies, contact support@smsinbox.io from your registered email within the period stated for your order. Please include the order details so we can review the case. We may request additional information to verify the claim.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time and will post changes on this page with an updated date.
